Kids At Hope

What is Kids at Hope?

Kids at Hope is about seeing children at hope rather than at risk.  It is about taking the best research we have about children and translating it into a simple but powerful strategy designed to help children succeed.  It is about cultures not about programs.  Most importantly, it is about a culture that supports its children through action, consistency, and inclusiveness.

AESD is proud to be a Kids at Hope District, and we are committed to the belief, principles and practices that support the success of all children. No exceptions!

I am talented, smart & capable of success.

I have dreams for the future and I will climb to reach those goals & dreams everyday.

Adult Kids at Hope Pledge

As an adult and a Treasure Hunter,

I am committed to search for the talents, skills and intelligence that exist

in all children and youth.

I believe all children are capable of success, no exceptions!

 

Art Walk of Hope

The talents, gifts and intelligence of our students are on display through visual representations of Kids at Hope. Asked to recognize and use cameras to capture examples of the tenets of Kids at Hope, our community of learners collected approximately 1300 images.

More than 200 photographs are framed and on display in the AESD District Office . The Art Walk of Hope is open during regular district office hours and will be on display for the next year. Please feel free to visit and make certain to share this opportunity with others.
