What is a school tax credit?

A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in state taxes that are owed. In general, if you make a tax credit contribution and you owe on your state taxes, in most cases, the amount of your tax credit contribution will be deducted from your tax bill.

Who is eligible to make a tax credit donation? 

A tax credit is available to all Arizona taxpayers, regardless if they have children in school or not. Anyone who resides and can file taxes in the state of Arizona can make a tax credit contribution. The Arizona tax law (ARS 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit up to $400 for Married Couple Filing a Joint Return and $200 for Single or Head of Household tax filers when contributing to extracurricular activities in public schools. 

How to make a donation?

You can use your debit or credit card to donate online.  Or, if you prefer, simply complete our Tax Credit Form and mail it along with your check to the Avondale Elementary School District Office.  Your support is a win-win for you as a taxpayer and our students!

Mail In Donation:  Simply complete the Tax Credit Form and mail it along with your check made payable to the Avondale Elementary School District Office, 295 W. Western Avenue, Avondale AZ 85323.
